Empire Reloader B Problems:
Empire Reloader Problems:
Does not turn on
- Be sure that you have installed 4 or 6 fresh AA-sized batteries, depending on which Battery Holder you are using
- Be sure the batteries have been installed into the Battery Holder according to the polarity markings on the Battery Holder
- Be sure the Battery Harness is properly connected to the Battery Holder
- Be sure the Board Harness is properly connected to the Circuit Board, with the gold contacts facing upwards and the red wires toward the outside edge
- Check to see if the Battery Wires have been severed at any point between the Battery Harness and the Board Harness
- Be sure the On/Off Button is not broken off of the Circuit Board
- If the above items have all been ruled out, replace the Circuit Board
Spins at high speed when turned on and won't shut off
This means the Circuit Board is defective and needs to be replaced.
Does not turn off
- Make sure the On/Off button on the Circuit Board is not broken off.
- If the On/Off Button is intact, then the Circuit Board is defective and needs to be replaced.
Breaks paintballs in the loader
- Be sure the Feed Cone is installed properly. The Drive Spring has to be pre-tensioned so that there is always tension between the Feed Cone and the paintballs.
* Note the tab (5) on the Feed Cone (2). The tab is used to catch the Drive Spring's tab (4). With the Spring Housing (1) and Drive Spring mounted on the main shaft, put the Feed Cone onto the Spring Housing and rotate the cone clockwise until the upper and lower spring tabs hit each other. You should now have both spring tabs pressed together. Lift the Feed Cone slightly and rotate it clockwise up and over the Spring Housing's tab (taking the upper spring tab (4) with it). Snap the Feed Cone down with the Feed cone's tab and the Drive Spring's tab on the right side of the Spring Housing's tab. While holding the feed cone down, insert and tighten the screw into the main shaft. The Feed Cone is now pre-tensioned and will snap back properly when wound up.Adjust the height of the loader in your gun's feed neck so the Feed Cone does not chop the top ball of the stack.
- Your paintballs may be poor quality or too brittle.
- Turn the speed down to the lowest setting. If the speed is already on the lowest setting, switch to the 4-AA battery pack. If you are already using the 4-AA battery pack and on the lowest setting, apply a small amount of paintball gun oil or Dow 33 (Shocker grease) to the inside edge of the Drive Belt O-Ring. Do not apply too much or the Drive Belt will constantly slip on the Motor's brass pulley.
The picture below with the
red "X" shows a Drive Belt with too much grease applied.
The picture with the
green check mark shows a Drive Belt with just the right amount of grease applied.

- Your batteries may be low
- The tab of the Feed Cone may have broken off
- Your Motor may be bad
Spins at startup but won't activate
when gun is fired
